NetworkRI Centers

netWORKri is a unique collaboration of employment and training centers dedicated to address the workforce development needs of job seekers and employers in the state of Rhode Island. Most of these resources are available for FREE.

 

Services available for job seekers at netWORKri centers include:

netWORKri staff are committed to providing center customers with prompt, courteous and appropriate employment, training and educational services and information. All netWORKri personnel recognize the importance of fostering continuous improvement through training and teamwork, remembering that providing the optimum level of customer service, in a competent manner is the ultimate goal of the system.

Staff of the individual partnering agencies will be responsible for the delivery of services to their respective programs. Shared responsibilities of all netWORKri staff include such basic customer-focused activities as greeting and directing customers, answering the telephone, supplying basic information on all available center services (either in person or by telephone), assisting in facilitation and use of the resource rooms, and referring customers to off-site services.

The State of Rhode Island, through TheWorkforce Partnership of Greater Rhode Island, has developed programs located in communities throughout the state. Many of these teenagers are out of school or ready to drop out of school.
